Our Beginning

River City Stump Removal was founded after we bought rural property of our own and realized just how hard it can be to reclaim land that’s been overtaken by time and invasive growth. Our woods were choked with bush honeysuckle, difficult to walk through, and nearly unusable—for us and for wildlife.

Inspiration

As we cleared our land, everything changed. We could enjoy our property again, and we began seeing more deer and turkey return. That experience inspired us to help others in our community facing the same challenges—neighbors who want to enjoy their yards, woods, and properties instead of fighting against them.

Real Need

We also saw firsthand how old, neglected stumps can affect safety and curb appeal, including in our own sons’ yards. Removing those stumps made a big difference, and we realized there was a real need for reliable, affordable stump and brush removal done the right way.

Yard Transformation

This customer’s property was choked with invasive bush honeysuckle and completely unusable. We were not sure what we might find. The brush was so dense you couldn’t walk into the area- we had to cut our way in.

Before

We mechanically and manually removed the unwanted vegetation, opening up a part of her property that hadn’t been usable in decades. We later went back and restored the area with native plants including Eastern redbuds and Silky and Gray dogwoods.
